lighting test

Desaturation Tests with light intensity

stairwell construction

construction screen shots

alley test

my original idea was to create the walls within the title sequence out of many bricks.
After 9000 bricks, i decided the render time would be too high and so the idea was scrapped for a simpler one

Renaissance

Whilst looking into styles for the TV intro, i thought back to a Animation which i have seen many times. The style intrigues me and would love to be able to recreate this in my own way.

Horror Genre

Research for horror genre TV series

A selection of Title Sequences:

Rod Serling's Night Gallery

tales from the crypt

Tales from the Darkside

These, although not that scary from my perspective, were back when they were made.
I especially like the music used in some of them. They help creep out the audience.

airsoft comp test

i decided to have a play with the camera in After Effects to see what the results would look like.
I used simple text and a photo that i'd played about with in Photoshop.
This test is simply to see if a camera looks good moving past text and images.

My thoughts are that it looks good however, will be improved when i use more texture and create my own typeface. Animating the elements will also increase the visual appeal.

Any opinions and suggestions are welcome

Airsoft

One of my initial ideas for this project was to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I was asked to make a trailer style intro for an Airsoft Team in London and as part of my research, here is the link to their website.
