This video caught my attention whilst looking further into the forthcoming D&AD.

The marriage between Audio and Visual elements within the video help to show the restraints of man-made objects upon nature and how, although trapped, nature seems to 'burst' out. This is beautifully represented by using water balloons and showing the explosive effect as the water is released.
By slowing the video down, 10 000 fps, the director is showing the audience something which you've always contemplated but never been able to find out. Its probably this idea of revelation which attracted me to this piece.
Water, although unpredictable, complements the man-made objects in this piece as they take the shape of whatever they are in. This can be seen as the balloons explode, revealing the water shape, without the balloons restriction. This split second event, slowed down for us to admire, is something anyone could appreciate.
The audio track running alongside the video complements the idea of nature and revelation.

The tag line at the end of the cinematography is 'a moment of scweppervescence'. Taken from the word effervescence which describes both the drink they are promoting as well as my feelings towards the piece.

1. to give off bubbles of gas, as fermenting liquors.
2. to issue forth in bubbles.
3. to show enthusiasm, excitement, liveliness
