We are Seventeen

During our recent visit to London, we were given the opportunity to visit this design company.
Before the visit, i hadn't heard that much about them however, i had looked at their website and found that they had a lot of work relating to Idents, something that would be useful to look at and talk about considering we are in the middle of an Ident based project.

We are Seventeen was unlike the other studio's that we have visited such as Psyop and Double Negative last year. Their premises wasn't massive however, this meant the atmosphere was much more personal and allowed for us to relax and have a chat about the work to the designers instead of being escorted around studio's in which the designers didn't say anything.

As we were able to talk to the creative genius' behind the work, i was able to gain a lot of insight into their work, as well as where the inspiration for their work came from. These came in the form of visual breakdowns and idea generation such as storyboards, mood boards, colour charts and past video's that had subsequently lead to the final ideas.

From looking at their work after a 7 1/2 month project, i managed to pick up a lot of ideas and tips which will help me in the future and will hopefully help me be able to develop my ideas to a much higher level, one which i feel my projects lack at the moment.
