The disappearing city could be represented the demolition or destruction of the world or cities.



These images are from Steven Spielberg's A.I. The representration of the future comes through neon lights, sexual structures and this constant need to sell themselves. The future, although sometimes bleak, comes with a hint of sexual fun, without the consequences. (Prostitutes and Gigolo's are mainly cyborgs in this film)


This final image mixes the styles of old and new. Traditional stone structures and oriental huts are surrounded by water and an arching dome which engulfs the whole scene.
