I was introduced to this piece after a quick chat with my tutor about the current project. He then directed me to this 'clay nation' advert which uses clay models which morph in order to change the landscape. They have also used a 3D printer in order to build a scale model of the Land Rover.
The fluid transformations of buildings and models seems computer generated however, after seeing the making of video for this piece, you can see the design process with your own eyes.

I couldn't find a decent copy so here is the link to the making of video which is on the website. Since this was created and released, Hornet, the company who created the video, opened up their own 'hand-made' section of the company called Workshop.
