I kept on getting updates on my facebook from one of the people i went to college (foundation year) with. This blog was something which interested me, not because of the content, but because of the idea, a blog post each day. 365 days, 365 posts. I wonder if he managed it/ will manage to keep it going till the end of the year.
Jamie was very talented with his ideas and illustrations, especially when using photoshop. This was something which i thought he would keep up with, however, when he came to visit Jane Richardson from illustration, he informed me that he had pretty much given up with photoshop and had adopted a more traditional approach. At first i thought this was a rash decision, however, after looking at his recent work, i think that he doesn't need it, and that his talent will keep him going.

Thanks very much, man! That's really kind of you, glad the non-photoshop work didn't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteReally like the CPP Aardvark project video, looks like a lot of work went into that.
Hope you're well.
how long do your illustrations actually take, from idea to final piece as it seems that the design process would take an age
ReplyDeleteCheers about the Aardvark think, was mainly design process and then hammered out all the illustrations in a week. Was fun doing it however, about £70 worth of posca pens, wasnt happy on the bank account.
