The reason this book is part of my research, is due to the fact that its based around the Dresden Bombings and the second world war. Although the book jumps through time and planets, this area within the book is interesting and useful for my research. Listening to the audio book has made me want to look more into the images of Dresden after the event.

This image is useful in the design of my animation. The environment is aesthetically interesting, with many possibilities and interesting shapes. The use of rubble with girders jutting out of it. The buildings are crumbling and have facets missing. Although there is a high probability of bodies being under the rubble, or even poking out of the rubble, i dont want to use this element within my own piece.
